With our three business units, we are the international market leader for development, manufacture and distribution of process-critical textile precision tools and industrial cutting solutions, as well as a solution provider for textile construction and solution provider of textile reinforcements for the construction industry and of composites. We therefore act as a partner for sustainable value creation in a wide range of industries.

Our headquarters are in Albstadt, Baden-Württemberg (Germany). We also have further production plants in Europe, Asia and North America. With our sales affiliates and sales partners, we guarantee a global presence for our customers and are positioned closely to the specific requirements of our partners in different markets around the world.

Founded in 1852, Groz-Beckert remains in family hands. The group employs around 9,400 people and turned over 839 million euros in 2024. Many production and sales affiliates and trading partners give Groz-Beckert a worldwide presence in more than 150 countries around the globe.

Turnover

In fiscal year 2024, group turnover decreased by 41 million euros or just under 5 percent to 839 million euros (previous year: 880 million euros). All three business units – Textile Tools, Cutting Tools and Engineered Textiles – were affected by the decrease in turnover.

Employees worldwide

On record date December 31, 2024, the Groz-Beckert Group employed 9,419 employees worldwide.

At the end of 2024 there were 5,611 persons working at the group in Europe. 3,669 persons were employed in Asia and 139 in North America.
